Organization “ALVA – Albanian Values – Albanian Values” developed for the second year successively the activity “World Values Day Albania” on October 17 to the center “M&M Ivanaj Foundation Institute”. This year’s theme “Values and Welfare” puts emphasis first on the importance of values in a society and how it is directly linked to our well-being.
In her opening speech, the founder and CEO of the organization “ALVA” emphasized the importance of values in society, human values, national values, and above all the family as the basis of receiving every every value and good quality.
According to the studies made by world leader Richard Barrett who has studied values scientifically, it turns out that they are closely related with man and the quality of life, so it’s essential to identify them, to make those parts of our community life accessible to the younger generation.
The event coincided with the 40th anniversary of the Nobel Peace Prize of St. Mother Teresa, whose messages are and will always be current, as a strong call for love, mercy, kindness, etc. Not without purpose part of the program was the wise word of the saint of Albanian origin.
People are often unreasonable, irrational, and self-centered. Forgive them anyway.
If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives. Be kind anyway.
If you are successful, you will win some unfaithful friends and some genuine enemies. Succeed anyway.
If you are honest and sincere people may deceive you. Be honest and sincere anyway.
What you spend years creating, others could destroy overnight. Create anyway.
If you find serenity and happiness, some may be jealous. Be happy anyway.
The good you do today, will often be forgotten. Do good anyway.
Give the best you have, and it will never be enough. Give your best anyway.

The participants had the opportunity to hear the opinions and experiences of a panel selected as:
TKOB’s “great master”, Nikolin Gurakuqi to highlight values, he spoke about the anti-values. He emphasized the problems of the younger generation, the superficial life, and the loss of spiritual balance as a major and hindering development. Concluding his speech, Professor Gurakuqi said the message is that values grow by working.
Sociologist Nora Malaj focused on her speech on our human values, preserved and inherited under extremely difficult living conditions during the dictatorial system. In addition, the Albanian family, especially the woman, lived her life with dignity and nobility, answering the “yes” question about whether small countries have big dreams.
In the same line was the Director of “ASAG”, Ermira Pirdeni who through her work over the years has paid special attention to social problems, especially integration and creation of optimal conditions for the third generation.
Eglent Bici the founder and CEO of “Mei Realty” as well as Trainer the success of personal development brought about by his active experience and work, the importance of positively observing things, being receptive rather than judgmental. Delivering positive energy according to him will radically improve everyone’s life.
In the second part of the activity was presented the initiative “I value women”.
CEO of ALVA and panel members re-emphasized the role, the importance and values of women in society and especially in the family. First each one of us should appreciate and cherish every woman as the pillar of love and education of generations to convey this great value to the younger generations.
